So after recovering from some minor pain in my forearm from last week, I'm good to go for playing again. One problem though, since I've started stretching my fingers more, I've noticed my middle and ring fingers don't stretch as far and aren't as mobile. Is that normal and can I work through it? It doesn't seem to impact my playing.

I don't know. Sounds like a question for a doctor. Your chances of getting carpel tunnel might've increased. You should probably keep playing though. Just not as much for a little while so you can build the muscles and not get yourself hurt.
