Not a chance you're gonna find something with EMGs and an OFR for $400.

And an OFR goes for about $250... So that's $450 and all you have are pickups and a bridge.

you could buy an ESP LTD Viper model... I'm pretty sure it has a Licensed Floyd Rose, and I'm not sure what pickups, but its got an SG shape to it. A little lopsided, but you may like it. you could maybe buy a guitar with an OFR and put EMG's in it? Not for your price range though. Like ZootCst said, 450 for a bridge and pickups, you better save up some more. If I were you, I'd just buy a guitar with a body wood/shape/paint (make sure it has the floyd rose route cut into it) and then gradually save up some more and buy your pickups.

I'm pretty sure SG's can't have Floyds in them, isn't the body too thin?

right now i have a epiphone G400 custom :P with damarzio evolutions XD! I might just take it to be cut at a guitar store then buy a OFR and put it in. The guitar is Ivory colored though... would their be anyway to make it black?

Something like that... You could probably fit a special Floyd in it, with a real short block...

but its a lot of work..

Well, if you like yellow, you could always go with the Travis Miguel Signature. It has an 81/85 combo and an OFR, its a quite nice guitar.

since the SG originally has a TOM bridge, it would be a perfect fit for one of the kahler flat-mount trems.

yeah i've always heard that the SG body is too thin for an OFR

a Kahler maybe?

and itll probably run over a grand

You could mod an SG with a Kahler trem.. that way you wouldn't have to route it.

EDIT- Beat to it. UG's getting smarterer.

you cant get a Floyd on an SG.
the body is too thin.

Like a ZR trem. Heh.
I'm back, you douchebags.

I've never heard of an SG with a floyd rose. If you really want an sg with a trem, you could get that really ugly gibson thing with the huge trem. Epiphone makes some nice SGs with EMGs in them, and ESP (make sure you get an esp. ltd's suck) puts emgs in their vipers, which are more metal versions of the SG.
#29
you cant really put a floyd rose in a SG, the body is too thin, but just buy an SG and put EMGs in it.

Schecter c1 hellraiser fr is cheapest you will find. It has OFR, emg 81 and 85, mahogany body and neck all for around $700
#32
The body's too thin for an OFR. If you want EMGs and an OFR, start looking at Schecters. They're good guitars in your price range that tend to have those features.
