A girl from the 8th grade of my school got killed last thursday.
She was in America for an exchange year and got hit by a car. We held a minute of silence for her on Friday.
To top it all, her best friend just lost her boyfriend two weeks ago, poor guy was 18 and died of a heart attack during gym class.
Sorry for posting yet another senseless thread, but even though I never knew any of them, I still feel really bad for all of them, and feel kind of connected to them in the fact that this could happen to anyone. It really hit me for the very first time that anyone or everyone I love and care for could be dead at any given time. I could be dead at any given time, out of pure bad luck.

I feel sorry for them, especially for the poor girl that lost her best friend and boyfriend withing two weeks.

Please let this thread stand as a reminder to never take life for granted, and to be grateful for every moment we can spend with our loved ones.

You truly never know if it might be the last time.

Too many people die young.
Is it still a God Complex if I really am God?

America is the only country that went from barbarism to decadence without civilization in between.

I know what you mean, about the feeling connected to them thing.

A guy in my school died about a year ago in a car crash, poor guy. I actually knew him, not as a friend as such (he was 2 years above me) but I still knew him personally, spoke to him on occasion. But yeah, it was wierd/moving how everyone reacted to the situation, even though most people didn't know him well. It's always quite a shock when someone in a school dies, because it's such a small community that it affects people on a personal level.

RIP to all mentioned in this thread.
