I have an Ibanez RG1570, so it has an Edge Pro trem.

Well...everything has been fine until I noticed that using my whammy bar put the friggin thing out of tune.

Is it the Edge Pro? because if it is, could some one direct me towards some options to make my guitar stay in tune (even if I'm doing crazy dive bombs)?

....then why am I out of tune???

I have no idea, but it may be your locking nut, or your intonation (don't actually know what that is fully) maybe you've knocked the fine tuners while playing by accident?

Is it constantly going out of tune when you re-tune it?
If its happened once, retune it and if it carries on take it to a guitar tech.

...If using the locking nut properly is to lock it, then yes I am.

It only goes out of tune when I use the whammy bar. (dive, it goes flat...pull up, it goes sharp)

I've heard something about a locking stud mod, but I'd like to get more input first before taking my bridge out.

You've read it, you can't un-read it!

It has nothing to do with streching the strings. They are stretched.

Is your trem clean?
Because AFAIK, dirt my cause it to stick, and not return to the proper spot after diving.
