Like everyone else said, you should probably just change the pickups. It'll cost a lot less than buying another guitar. You probably wouldn't get that much for it. But I'd change the pickups if I were you.

On eBay you could probably get like $400-$500 Canadian. If you bring it to a shop to trade or whatever you'll get screwed and probably get like $200.
*Taylor 214ce Acoustic
*Fender Highway One Honey Blonde Strat (Fralin Pickups)
*Epiphone Zephyr Regent (Gibson '57 Humbucker)
*Vox 847 Wah
*Fulltone Fulldrive 2 MOSFET

Depending on the amp you're using you might be better off replacing that rather than the guitar...unless you're positively gagging for a floyd. If that Fender champ is the only one you have then that's what's holding you back in terms of metal tones, not the Epi...a new guitar won't change that.
Actually called Mark!

i know that, but I want a real metal guitar, with a floyd rose if possible, that's why i'm willing to sell my les paul, I paid 700$ can for it and i don't play with it, its a waste of money, so i want to change that and buy a guitar that i will use

A Les Paul could do metal easily with new pick-ups. Though, seeing as it's a few years old, maybe $300 max, 350 if you really pushed it. I paid $425 for mine, and it was new...
Pics? You could probably trick someone inexperienced into buying it for maybe $400.

I paid in CAN., at Long & McQuade.

To put pics, you need either a webcam, or a digital camera that you can transfer the pics to your computer with. Then put the pics on either Image Shack, or Photobucket (any host site will work really), then post the links to them here.

What do you mean a real metal guitar? You already have one. Just because the dean is shaped retarted doesnt mean its more "metal". Just get hotter pickups, it'll be less trouble and cheeper.

the neck of the Les Paul is too slow and fat and thick.. I don't like it
It was my 1st guitar and I didn't know every thing about a guitar that makes it good
I bought it because I was really in GnR music.. but now, I know what i'm looking for

Its really retarded to say a LP cant do metal.

There are countless artists that use Les Pauls for Metal.

You could always do what I did to mine, sand down the neck.

Its not hard, just dont do it without knowing what you're doing.

I put the EMG 81/85 set in mine, and its heavier than any factory-made ESP/Ibanez I've played in the price range.

Switch the pups out for some actives, it helps ALOT.

What kind of amp do you have?
