Do the quality of cables matter that much for connecting pedals with 1 foot/6 inch cables? Right now I'm using extra 12 foot cables i have and just want to tidy things up. I found these $5 livewire cables and have also looked into the George L make your own cable thing. I feel like the George L's would be better in the long run, but i dont know. Any advice?

Cheap amps are "that bad". They suck up your tone like cocaine at Kate Moss' party.

+1 for George L's. They're amazingly easy. If you do have any trouble, run down to your local guitar store and ask them or check the George L. website.

george L's are pretty good quality and really not that expensive if you build your own.
