im looking for an overdrive pedal for under 75 bucks (u.s.) that would sound good through my marshall dsl 100. the distortion it comes with is great, but i neeed a little bit more sustain, and a little bit more sensitive tone (like not having to hammer on so damn hard only to have the tone not as strong as when i plucked it, again probably a sustain issue).

funny thing is, im playing a leslie, so the sustain should be monumental, but it isnt quite there.

so yeah, i just need an overdrive to push the tubes that extra little bit.

I've heard Digitech Bad Monkeys are surprisingly good copies of the TubeScreamer for only $40, or the modded Badder Monkey (which you can get from eBay) for $80.
