For the most part I liked it. The last 45 minutes or so was pretty dull though..

I'm back and forth on that one. When I'm in the mood for it, I love it.

I think it is brilliant. Cameron Crowe is such an awesome writer. Great snappy but realistic dialoque and interesting charcters. Love the seen where the kid gives everyone in the band shit for treating penny like crap when he is the only one that really loves her. Also love the scene were the band member talks on the phone with his mom and she's like "wtf" AWESOME movie.

I liked it. Was cool it was a story from the kid's point of view, and he was a journalist, not just a Rockstar who was "Almost Famous." It was a good movie.

I dig it

It has some of my all time favourite movie lines in it

"Rock stars have kidnapped my son"

Russell Hammond: And you can tell Rolling Stone magazine that my last words were... I'm on drugs!
[crowd cheers]
William Miller: Russell! I think we should work on those last words!
Russell Hammond: I got it, I got it. Last words - I dig music.
[a few claps]
Russell Hammond: [beat]
Russell Hammond: I'm on drugs!
[crowd cheers]

Jeff Bebe: Is it that hard to make us look cool?

Russell Hammond: Can we just skip the vibe, and go straight to us laughing about this?
Jeff Bebe: Yeah, okay.
Russell Hammond: Because I can see by your face you want to get into it.
Jeff Bebe: How can you tell? I'm just one of the out-of-focus guys.

I could quote the entire film, but that'll do for now.

I like any movie that has anything to do with rock bands, or music in general.

^That's what caught my eye in the first place.

I was flipping throught channals and saw some guy playing a solo, I could have sworn, I thought Led Zeppelin were playing...

Then I stayed up till 2 watching it, what a night.

Absolutely my favourite movie ever. Brilliant. Get the "Untitled" extended cut, it's 42 more minutes of sheer cinematic joy.

I also can quote the whole movie. Hell, where it says "The Uncool" under my name is from Almost Famous, where Lester Bangs says "The only true currency in this bankrupt world is what you share with someone else when you're Uncool," which is my favourite quote ever. And, not to blow my own horn, I know almost everything there is to know on that movie, as well as a lot about Cameron Crowe and his films in general. I wrote a 15 page paper analysing his films and could have gone longer. So, any Crowe questions, you can direct them at me.

I didn't mean that to be as arrogant as it turned out.
Can't stop the signal.

The part that the plane is going through turbulence, and they all start sharing secrets because they think that they'll die, and one yells "IM GAY!" and suddenly the turbulence goes away and everyone looks at him.

I think it's a great movie (it's my favorite movie) because if you get it, you'll like it whether you're a male or female. It's a great movie overall because it can be considered a comedy, a drama, and even a chick flick wrapped into one. I haven't watched that movie with one person who didn't go crazy over it.
