I bought a Fender Custom Classic about 4 years ago and not long after having it the guitar developed a hazy place right where my right arm drapes over the body of the guitar. Someone told me this is from sweat. Anyways, this is a fairly expensive guitar and I want it gone! Does anybody know any home remedies to bring this out?
Have you cleaned the spot? It may just be grease.

Or the friction from your arm is starting to wear away the finish, which means you're on the way to relicing your guitar.

I've polished and waxed, both, a few times and still didn't work. The guitar was fresh from the factory when I got it. I don't no much about finish stuff but I'm thinking the finish didn't have enough time to cure and my sweat got in it. Damn it.
