Something incredibly easy, yet at the same time is quite catchy.

The crazy frog maybe? But from a rock point of view, i'd say smoke on the water.

nah. just that one.

i'm fine with other songs...

but seriously, i'd rub my balls after a good mile run on that song if i could.

This thread will surely be filled with Smoke, possibly coinciding upon some Clear Liquid, so I'll offer other thoughts.

I'd say Freebird, I mean, even when just the first note of that main riff is played, everyone knows what it is.

There's too much by AC/DC to mention.

For a slightly more underground one, try "Blister in the Sun" by The Violent Femmes.

There's a whole bunch for The White Stripes too.

Most teens nowadays can get any blink-182 song instantly, or anything else Tom DeLonge has done.

Post your opinions on that riff, that if you play it for someone, they can hum along instantly. Mine- Interstate Love Song, Stone Temple Pilots

i have never heard of that song...

but probably smoke on the water or AC/DC

I'd say Fur Elise.

And classical music doesn't suck.
So good to see you once again.
I thought that you were hiding.
And you thought that I had run away.

Considering Bon Scott was dead before that album, sure.

I'd say the top three cliché riffs are:

Smoke on the Water
Iron Man
Enter Sandman
