Quick question, the Roland Cube 30x is footswitchable, but does anybody know if i use my standard footswitch (the switch is a hughes and kettner FS1, not that it matters), will i be able to just switch between clean and dirty? i'm not too bothered about switching the dfx on and off - its only a practice amp, but at least clean and dirty makes learning new stuff a bit easier.

thanks,

It's just a switch, that Roland in their infinite wisdom seem to think is worth £30, as long as the footswitch you have is unlatched (the 'u' in FS5U) and the polarity is correct, you should be OK, and even if it isn't, changing the polarity only involves a simple bit of rewiring.
