So for my english class, we have to do a 5 page report on an american artist from the 20th century. they can still be around today, but they have to have done something in the 1900's, and we have to say how they influenced people through their work.

i need some ideas on who to pick. i obviously want to pick some guitarist, but i'm not sure who. the thing is, we need to be able to get 10 sources, so i want to pick someone who is popular.

my friend is doing Cobain, so i cant choose him.

any help is appreciated.

Tom Petty

or Robby Krieger(The Doors) or Bob Dylan

EDIT: Hendrix has been done so many times by everyone and everything imaginable. Do something original.

the fresh prince, he taught how to believe in yourself and help others in a comical and equally entertaining way whilst learning a lesson that helped everyone.
