What Do I need to take a finish off a guitar, is there a certain grit sandpaper I need.?

EDIT: Personally, I don't like the sanding tutorial. I really want to give the chemical removal process a try.

with the chemical way you can pretty much get it done in one day and it saves you ALOT and I mean ALOT of manpower hours. It took me around 5 hours nonstop to sand through the clear coat and the paint on my rg, and it took my friend around an hour and a half total to get his done using the chemical way. And all he did was pretty much watch tv and waited for the chemicals to do their thing.

Whatever one you want. Make sure you read all of them thoroughly. Most people on UG tend to sand their bodies to refinish.
