I'm working on chord construction, and i got all the major chords except B. It looks to me like that is the same as an E chord. Will someone please explain why that is, and tab out a B chord for me? Not Barre form please.

Hm.. on second thought, doesn't look like it at all.

Anyway: B = B D# F#, while E = E G# B.

Wow, im sorry. I was working on chord construciton and i messed B all up. I got E= E G# B, and then i got B= B E G#. But now i see that was just a mistake. Sorry to waste your time guys .

EDIT: Open B chord is B D# F#, right?

EDIT EDIT: thanks, im still new to all this stuff. Its kinda pathetic, ive been playing nearly two years, and im only starting to "learn" the guitar.
