ass the title implies, I am looking for some cool metal riffs that are easy to play and are chunky and distorted, Yet are also pleasing to metal fans.

I mostly play for my uncle and jam with a few bands, (Such as The neon culpa and Electric Melanoma, 2 bands that are local and quite talented, Check em out.)

Anyhow, They are pretty good, but I am not a hardcore guitarist, I can't really improvise that well, but I can play rhythem and COme up with some cool stuff, But eh, I am just looking for pleasing riffs to the metal ear that are either recognizable, or sound really cool. I mostly jam out with family, Who play drums and bass, and I aswell can play all three atleast to some degree.

So thanks, and have a great night.

oh and also, Check out My lyrics, Search island for broken boys, Let me know what you think.

yeah, I want something abit more complicated I guess...

I can play, Seek and destroy, Fade to Black, Wrath Child, Welcome Home (sanitarium), Unsung, Slither... stuff like that, As well as older metal. I also would like to hear some new bands that are pretty good, In the metal genre of course.

Give 10 UGers a rope and ask them to pull. 4 will push, 1 will ask for buttsecks, 2 will tell you get an Ibanez and the last 3 will start complaining about Line6 Spiders.

Killswitches Riffs from The End Of Heartache are fast and cool sounding. But my favorite metal riff of all time is The Pot by Tool. It might be easy, but that is so fun to play.
