ive been looking into the ghs zakk wylde boomers, 10 gauge, and ive read some things about them on this interweb. they apparently are so thick, that they can break the nut or bend your neck. now, i had my neck altered to be able to fit regular 11 gauge strings on it, so my neck should be alrite with these uber thick 10s right? just wanna make sure before i change em out. thanks.

nope, it'll more than likely need more adjustment if you put those strings on.
a guy told me that the tremolo bar was called the "distortionator"

Its not that they are "just .10's"

its that they go from like .10 to .60... which is a lot thicker than typical .10's which end at like .46
