Hey, I've been playing for 6 months now, and I play mostly metal, the problem is that with songs like masters of puppets (i can play masters of puppets exept for the solo)that my picking hand gets tired, and loses speed..
Any advices here?

So you're saying this wont be a problem later on?
Are there also some exercises to train my hand? (sorry for crappy english, 14 years old dutch boy here)

practise just mor downpiking, master of puppets is a good song to do it, just keep on playing.......or start mastrubaiting or something

Do alternate picking drills, find them on UG's lesson section.
"Play with your ears" - Yngwie Malmsteen, Paul Gilbert

hey man i used to get that all the time...As you play longer you grow more muscle in your hand, and it doesent get tired.

Any idea how long it may take ?

hmm...
maybe your putting too much stress in to the picking hand?
just a thought though...

if so then practice songs in a more relaxed way and be sure you're not getting
tensed up as you move from verse to verse and song to song...

Tension's a killer. Loosen up. But don't feel too bad -- downpicking Master of Puppets is pretty tiring for everyone I think

make sure you aint holding the pick too tight, and make sure you warm up with scales and stuff before you start playin songs. other than that just keep playing, and the the muscle will start to grow and make it easier

Yeah, I remember thinking it was easy, in that naive "as far as I can tell it sounds fine" kind of ways.

It's when you listen back to those recordings when I'd only been playing for like, 5 months...woooh, thats shoddy.
