You use a metronome O_o? I don't really understand what the question is...

ok, ive been playing guitar for little over a year. i dont seem to be getting any faster, and ive heard a mentronome can help. but i dont know how to use one when all it does it click.

4th notes-every click
16th notes-half click(hit the note 2 times per click, spaced evenly)
32nd notes-quarter click (hit the note 4 times per click, spaced evenly)

each click is a beat, you play the notes on or between the beats. it helps you keep time, a steady rhythm, while you play so that you can actually play with other people eventually.

It sounds to me like you just answered your own question.

When I became ill last week, I had to make a critlist for people who came in and looked at my songs. Now, I've decided to make a cuntlist for The Pit. Starting with this thread. So far I have:

For example, if there was a steady 4|4 click, and you were playing 4ths, it would be like:
Click : Note (1)
Click : Note (2)
Click : note (3)
Click : Note (4)

For 8ths:
Click: Note, note (1)
Click: Note, note (2)
Click: Note, note (3)
Click: Note, note (4)

I dunno if that makes sense....

You just play along with it like it's a really simplified drum beat. That's all there is to it really.
If you could blow up the world with a flick of a switch,
Would you do it?

If you could make everybody poor just so you could be rich,
Would you do it?

With all your power,
What would you do?
