Hey, so i've been looking at universities to do a degree course in music technology. However the courses require a grade 6 in an instrument So i just wondered if anybody could give me some advice about it. What sort of skill level does it take to be able to play the material? ect. If i could have some examples of songs around this standard it would be much apreciated.

thanks

If you PM me your email address I'll rip the grade 6 songs off the cd and send them to you.

Well grade 6 is quite advanced. It would mean that you have a really good understanding of most everything. And Ive dont know what would be considered grade 6 for bass or guitar. I really only know of piano having grades that are really enforced.
