hey
Im doing a project and everything has been cut and primed, but i need to know when to put the bridge. Im using a standard strat style neck. Does it just go anywhere inline with the neck or does it have to be a certain distance from something??

measure the distance from the nut to the 12th fret, and then measure from the 12th fret that far again, and that's where it goes.

and that is measured to the very top of the bridge? or to the saddles?

Then saddles. Let the high E saddle out as far as you can, then bring it in about an 1/8th of an inch. That's where you measure from.
