Whenver I try to turn on my computer, it just pulls up a black screen that says "NTLDR missing, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete to restart" and just does that over and over again. I just had a bunch of viruses and heard that they could have taken out the boot drive, if so is there anyway to say the information from my hard drive?

You need to throw out your computer, you get so many problems from it!

Do you have a Systems32 running? If so, delete that.

Careful. Scourge got banned for that.

There are plenty of reasons why this could happen. Do you have a floppy disc, CD-ROM or flash drive in whilst you're booting up?

Take a look at this: http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000465.htm

Yeah I dont have any disks in any drives. I think the viruses on my computer corrupted the boot driver or whatever. I want to know if there is a way to save my information because I will most likely have to reformat my computer

I think operating system corruption is the most likely problem. If that's the case, it's highly unlikely you'll be able to back up your system. Be sure to try everything on that list before you reformat. Also, search around Google for other possible solutions.

Actually, you may just be able to 'repair' your operating system, instead of completely formatting it. That way, you'll have a non-corrupted registry but still have access to everything you ahve saved on your computer.

Ok, I just need to know how to access my hard drive and save my files without needing to turn on the computer
