Hey guitar heads! this is for younger players or guys who didn't discover the magic of a legendary player called RORY GALLAGHER! He, at his prime was considered better than Clapton more free wheeling than Dylan, Better than Johnny Winter and inspired Slash, Ace Frehley(kiss) Johnny Marr(the smiths), Brian May (Queen) and countless others I IMPLORE YOU TO AT LEAST LISTEN TO the greatest IRISH GUITARIST that ever lived

Rory can flat out play, he's a fantastic guitarist. I enjoy listening to his music a lot.

Irish Tour '74 is amazing, Against the Grain is another favorite of mine. One of my all time favorite guitarists.

My name on here might even be inspired by him.

Rory's easily better than them. I must say i prefer his accoustic stuff especially "As the crow flies" on Irish Tour

Seriously Rory's in his own league. I'm not going to start with why I think Page, EVH, and Slash are overrated because I'll be typing for days. Joe Perry is great though and I'm glad standard CR fans like yourself enjoy him. Listen to Rory Gallagher and just open your mind a little.

I've got Irish Tour, and I must say he is an amazing guitarist.

That is the only one I have too, but I LOVE that album, and Rory is one of my favorites, by far. I was introduced to him by some hard core Zeppelin fans a while back, and I haven't stopped listening to that album since. I'll try to get s'more today

definately. And yeah, Joe Perry is great

He is but nowhere near Rory, or Page for that matter, in my opinon...

To be honest, I do believe Roy Buchanan was given the "Greatest Guitar Player You've Never Head of" nickname.

Both great, however.

to be honest, I think Perry is ten times the guitarist Page is. But that's besides the point.

Continue with Rory
