Mehjoe, Are humbukcer sized P 90s any good? And are there any other fenders with P 90s, since id preffer a fender. I dont really want a mohogony body, thanks.

the bareknuckle ones are meant to be, but they're about £180!

If you don't want mahogany, you're cutting down your options quite a bit.

Gordon Smiths use brazilian cedar, it's similar to mahogany but a little brighter- they're made in the UK and good value, you can get a 1-pickup p90 one for around £450, I guess.

Reverend make a load of p90 guitars, they'd be worth a look too, I guess. I haven't tried them.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

^ i'm drawing a blank at the moment. There certainly are, but I can't think of any that are under budget at the moment, lol.

The Fender Aerodyne Tele has a p-90 at the neck and a tele pup at the bridge. I think that would be one of the best arrangments vbecause you have the twangy tele sound and the warm p-90 sound.

Epiphone Les Paul gold top with P-90's it's a reissue I believe, played it in the store and loved it great guitar.

I'm sure GIbson also makes a gold top with P-90's if you got the cash.

If you're on a budget, the Squier Tele custom II has a couple of P90s on the neck and bridge

200-ish quid I think

There's the Epiphone 56 goldtop - http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/options.php?id=860

PRS SE Soapbar (a couple of models) - http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/options.php?id=69442 (don't know if a soapbar is the same as a P-90)

Those are the only two that sprung to mind...
Fender 60th Anniversary Standard Strat,
Epiphone Les Paul ES,
Line6 Flextone III,
Laney VC15,
Some pedals,
Some recording gear.

Yes the humbucker shaped P-90's can be pretty damned good. The Gibson P-94's are marvelous little things, just listen to Nick Valensi from the Strokes for proof of that.

Yes, the Fender Jazzmaster is loaded with P90's and should be within your price range if you look hard enough.
