"ex's and oh's" by atreyu.
only difficult bit is the sweeping. even the tapping is pretty easy.
helps if you've got a whammy bar aswell.

"her voice resides" by bullet
"requiem" by trivium, if you can get a full tab :/
i had to play the last part by ear.

Ok I think we're all good now. We're on the same page, and I'm back to trying to get with his sister.

avenged sevenfold always play in drop D
try chapter 4 or something off "waking the fallen"
quite easy to learn really

or if your up to it, check sidewinder off of city of evil
solo is a beast and a half

Dropped D

Trivium - All of Ascendency is in Drop D and is relatively challenging.
Pantera (sometimes) - Walk
Lamb of God - Laid To Rest / Redneck FTW!

Dropped C

Atreyu - Bleeding Mascara, The Crimson, Her Portrait In Black, most songs
Bullet For My Valentine - Hand of Blood, Suffocating Under Words Of Sorrow
Children of Bodom (newer stuff) - Are You Dead Yet?, Living Dead Beat, In Your Face

There's a few for ya.

I don't really known any bands who use Drop D, but Velvet Revoler's sog "SLither" is played in Drop D. And a lot of system of a down's old stuff is in Drop C.

sidewinder does have the acoustic at the end
i found a vid of a guy playing it AGES ago on youtube and it was pretty amazing :|
the first solo is a beast as well, but its not TOO difficult, the speed is hard though.

Almost all of Senses Fail's work is in drop D. I know Thrice use Drop-C alot, too.
