Hey there
i need some strings for my Squier Master Series Thinline Tele (thats a semi-hollow). The kinda music i play is REGGAE kind of sublime style and a little jack johnson, when he uses an electric. I was thinking of some 9's maybe. But what kind are good....i have always played acoustic...i put D'addarios EJ16 on my acoustic guitar. Is fender strings good? can i get some help?

I love my ernie ball super slinkies, they are rather twangy, but they are the only strings i thought worth trying

Good for you. Have a cookie.

But really... there's no cookie. And if there was, you wouldn't get one.

if u are used to an acoustic, and are playing reggae, why the hell would u go with 9's??? i wouldn't go lighter than 11s!

Theres no such thing as "greatest strings ever". Its all taste.

Earnie Ball strings go dead fast. But theyre inexpensive and come in any gauge.

Try D'addario XL 9's extra light...They sound really bright and last a really long time....
