Does anyone know where I can get some really heavey gauge strings? I'm going for the 12 to 13 heavy gauge. I used to play them but I can't find anyone who sells them anymore

Buy a set of strings for a 7 string guitar, and then throw away the high E.

honestly?

I can always find 12s in any brand I want; 13s my choice is usually limited but they normally have the main brands

Well what is your choice of brand?

It's either that, or pay for shipping for a bunch of packs, or spend your time travelling from shop to shop.

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/DAddario-EXL1107-Regular-Lite-7-Electric-Guitar-Strings-Set?sku=100297
5.29 American for the 7 strings.
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/DAddario-EXL110-Nickel-Regular-Light-Electric-Guitar-Strings?sku=100191
3.89 US for the 6 strings.
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/DAddario-EJ22-Nickel-Jazz-Medium-Guitar-Strings?sku=100118
4.99 US for the .13s

But those are D'addarios, what's your brand?

Order online. Just gotta buy in sets of 2 or more. They're pretty damn good...I usually change my strings every three or four weeks...I can keep these ones in for maybe 2 months without noticing a different in tone or playability.
Plus, they're ALOT easier on your frets. Nickel-plated steel just kills yours prets from repeated usage. I know cause that's what I had on a strat, and the frets up top, where you play open position chords are a bit worn. Haven't had a problem on my SG, which has always had pure nickel on 'em.

Just order your strings online. Guitar Center has increasingly become more unreliable every month...
