I say just learn it the old fashion way. He can't GARUNTEE you that you will learn the fretboard, it's basically your will to choose whether or not you're going to do so.

All that stuff is complete and utter bullshit. The best way to learn the fretboard is to practice using the bottom two strings (as in, E and A) as the root for chords, and then work the others out by octaves until you know them.

It's real easy to explain the fingerboard in 45 minutes. But no matter what system you use it'll take the next 5 - 10 years (okay, maybe a lifetime) to master it.

hey! i paid for that product off of ebay some time ago. Its complete crap, just random memorizations that has little relevance to actual fret board. and i agree completely with ronsonic

....wow, what a way to revive the thread.

I saw one of these things on the internet, and it looked so enticing and appealing that I checked Limewire and it just so happened to be there.

I downloaded it, read through the whole thing, and was left thinking, "Yeah, no shit."

Basically, it gives you acronyms with which to memorize the note names on the fretboard. Needless to say, it's useless.

if you don't mind sending it to a lot of people im kinda intrigued.

I bet what it really does is teaches you the progression of notes and the root notes per string. Then its up to you to find out whatr each note is. Also maybe explains how chord are composed.
