Me and two other people set up a jam session in a couple of days and i want to know what kind of songs would be good. they need to be easy to learn. also i have never played with these people so the songs cant be too complex. and we basicaly lisen to anything rock from the 70's and 80's.

Whenever I have a jam session we just kinda pick a key and let it all roll from there....

However, some Zeppelin tunes are always fun to play, along with Born To Be Wild, which is not as hard as it seems.

personally i'm in to a lot of sixties stuff. if your not totally against it, i've jammed with people and taken old sixties pop songs and sped them up and thrown in some distortion. sounds pretty good and people are suprised when you tell them what the song really is

some examples....

runaway- del shannon
brown eyed girl- van morrison

also some of the stuff by the doors is pretty easy
