yea and halfway through the big corporate day out they actually get some hooligans to step onto the field and beat eachother up!

but in all seriousness, i have no idea who i want to win. I'd rather have the field bombed.

Da Bears!!!!!! I agree with Americanhoser, I just do not like Manning and hte Colts. Tony Dungy comes off as a whiney baby always agruing calls, and Manning always has this sucky face when a play does not go his way. Reminds of the kid who loses and takes his ball home.

On a more serious note, no one is giving the bears much of a chance but they are wrong. First off alot of talk has centered on the receivers of the Colts and the Bears inability to match up. While try, since covering Wayne and Harrison will be tough, the key will be controling Dallas Clark and other third receivers. Controling the third guy will allow Bears to use double coverage on primary receivers. Urlacher has shown that he can cover just about anyone with good speed, so he and Rickie Manning will split duty on Dallas Clark and contain him.

The next key factor is the bears front four. After what they did to Drew Brees and hte Saints I expect Peyton Manning to have alot of pressure and Manning does not like to be pressured or forced; he likes to be able to sit back and make reads and throw the ball. The Bears will not let him do that. I hope Peyton Manning owns lots of laundry detergent because he will be on the turf today.

Lastly Bears offence. They do not have nearly as much pressure on them as the Colts. Run early and run oftern; even if they get down by 14 point in the first half. Keeep and it and physically wear down the Colts adn use play actoin to hit Berrian deep like they did against the Saints. Running will also keep Rex from making too many mid range passes (between 7-15 yards) where he has more traffic to negotiate to get the ball to the receiver.

It wll be a good fun game of smach mouth football (bears )versus highly skilled team (colts). If the Bears front four does its job they will win by 24- 21.

Superbowl last year went on till something stupid like 3am (GMT) so i can't watch it this year cos i have to get up for college at 6am. But yea i'm going to sayyyyyy ..... bears.

So who does everybody want to win the Premier League (British or "Real" Football) this season. It's gotta be (sadly) Manchester United i think. Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal are too far behind now. Especiall after Liverpool got hold to a draw by the best team on Merseyside XD.

I'm pulling for the Colts, but I have a feeling that the Bears are gonna win.

But anyways, who's playing halftime?
Peace.

Um, almost everybody for some reason is predicting that the bears will win. All of the sportscasters are atleast, but they are pretty much dumbasses. Also, Colts for the win for the sole reason that there is no other team in the NFL that deserves a superbowl ring more then the Colts and Peyton Manning. Also, the comment about Tony Dungy was pretty damn stupid when you're talking about a coach that basically takes a lot of shit for never winning a superbowl as a coach. Stupid bandwagoners and there hope that Rex Grossman, who by the way in one game had a 0.0 pass rating where he started, is gonna eek out a win.

Lastly Bears offence. They do not have nearly as much pressure on them as the Colts.

I though prince is doing half time. I might actually watch since he is a decent guitar player
and musician.

Reponding to VR 2500: I stand by my comment about Dungy. First I will say he is a good coach but boy he whines alot. It is not him challenging plays but his attitude when doing it. And I qualify my statement of him being a good coach because he came to INdy as a defensive guru, yet the Colts have had a notoriously average defence since he has been there excpet for last year when they were very good.

The Bears given much chance to win? I have heard only one on air sports personality say the bears will win, and I have been watching and reading the sports pages and tele with all the build up to the big game. I may have missed something?

The Bears do have to face Freeney, but I was referring to pressure in terms of what people expect them to do in terms of having to score 30 plus points a game.

Will be a good game.

yeah its prince playing...and as for the colts - offense, theres no way they can cover wayne harrison and clark...and their defense should be able to stop them...i mean theyve got freeney and sanders, who i am really looking forward to seeing him hit someone...his hits are always awesome
and to you jackasses who keep saying the stadium should blow up, i mean youre really funny, but ive got a bunch of friends going there so if you could go ahead and not be retarded little pricks that would be great
