I am on the edge
looking down and

I hold everything
locked in my head

I am trying but
I can't find the key

Now I'm on the floor
Crying on my knees

hopeless maybe I know
but even so
worth a try and I hide
the doubt inside
hopeless maybe I know
but even so
I did nothing wrong but
they didn't know

I am everything
they did not want

I am nothing that
they were looking for

I hold everything
locked in my head

If they find the key
I'll be left for dead

hopeless maybe I know
but even so
worth a try and I hide
the doubt inside
hopeless maybe I know
but even so
I did nothing wrong but
they didn't know

I am

holding

nothing

I am everything

I am everything wrong

I'm
hopeless maybe I know
but even so
worth a try and I hide
the doubt inside
hopeless maybe I know
but even so
I did nothing wrong but
they didn't know

The delivery of each line is importnat to know how good this song'll be, nevertheless, I think this has the potential to be a great song. I like the lyrics.

lyrics are good, I like.... I agree with Edwin on the delivery... I imagined it in my head as a main voice singing aggressively, for example, "If they find the key", and an answering voice, slightly less prominent singing "I'll be left for dead"... a la Mudvayne's Not Falling during the chorus: "I, I'll bleed (for no-one), the demons (but myself) that drag me down"

But yeah, this is good.

C4C? It's called Finding an Angel

yeah it's definitely gonna be hard to pull off. my band plays more of a progressive rock style. this song would be a little heavier than we're used to, and the problem is that I'm the singer/guitarist, and my voice doesn't really fit how this is supposed to sound.

it will work well for prog rock i suppose! the flow is so smooth. totally solid dude! \m/
