I recently set up my pedal board with what I had avaliable, but although it does the job up to a point (very well actually for what I need) I really need something to add to the gain for solos without adding more distortion to the point where the sound just gets lost amongst the fuzz. See sig for current set up. I'm thinking of trading in the MT-2 as it's just too buzzy and 'ugh' even with the gain turned right down, so what I guess I need is a simple boost pedal that I can get for (hopefully) the trade in value of and MT 2 in the UK, since I'm a skint student.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Modded TS9s duh !!!
Tone is all ...... well probably 75%, in your fingers.
The rest depends on your wallet's thickness !!

Keep the faith, baby!!

the metal muff has the top boost function
basiclly just kicks like 20db [its adjustable though and thats about its limit] so it really makes the lead cut through

Yes, but TSs have Mid-Boosts to even hump your sound in front of the band !!

An Equalizer maybe? Sharpen your tone for solos, and give it that volume boost you need.
