Ok I just need some help in simplifying so I can solve for the Limit as x approaches -1

how would I simplify ((1/x+2)-1)/(x+1)

???

ok im guessing cause right now im just in algebra 1 but i think u would have to distribute out and then work with it so

-1/x-2 (put that over) x+1
