Hi ....

Ive had a constant problem with this....im more of a vocalist ..started playing to improve my singin....now ..whatever song i play ...i feel lik my vocals cant be heard at all (this is when i practise on my acoustic) ....i always change a song to the key that suits my vocals ....but even after that i feel the same way.....is it that a guitar will always be louder unless i use a microphone for my vocals or are my vocals too weak ?

The key of the song won't impact your volume, unless it's an issue of you trying to sing high and not having much power up there.

You should be able to sing louder than an unamplified guitar, though, even if you're off-key. You can speak louder than a acoustic guitar, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Ya you shouldnt be quieter than a guitar. It should be much louder. So just have some confidence and sing.
