Dumb question but how do you play notes in bracktes in tabs

eg.
-12(14)---12(14)---12(14)----12(14)---12(14)-12-10----|

This notes in the brackets indicate the pitch you should achieve when bending:

For example:

12(14) means that you bend the 12th notes on the string until it sounds like the 14th notes, on the same string.
