I have been playing Guitar for about 2 months now. I have played all sorts of other intrusments in my time, yet this is hardest. I have small hands, so i dont know if its causing me to play bad. I have fast nimble fingers, played piano alot in my time. Wanted to move on to guitar. I have no real problem shifting and playing solos and such, my only real problem is playing chords. I want to play them so i can be a better guitarist but for some reason i cant even play

E-----------
B-----------
G-----5----
D-----5----
A-----3----
E-----------

i try to put my fingers on the fret but it just seems i dont have room.

I also am having problems playing this.

A----0-----
B----3-----
G----3-----
D----3-----
A----0-----
E-----------

Is there any advice someone could give me.

To give u length of my index finger it is roughly length of 1-3 fret, covering the distance.

And if someone has the time to help, i have a webcam. And could show anyone my god damn prob.

One word.

Practice.

Really, don't get all mad cos thats all I have to say. It worked for me. Also google chord finger position charts or something to check if you're using the "correct" finger position. Just keep doing it enough and it'll come naturally. I had that problem when I started out too.
