anybody know any decent animation programs for beginners? it would be to make little cartoons 4 or 5 mins long. thanks.

I use Blender 3D, have been for a while. It has a steep learning curve, but it's oh so good. And it's all free, GNU open license, open-source, all that.

flash is the best. but that takes a LONG time to learn how to use.

Agreed. Definitely the best FREE AND LEGAL animation program out.

Yeah, I got Flash 8 and was a bit.. confused. So I got myself a copy of Flash 8 for dummies. Which, as of yet, I havent read the first page.

But Flash is the best program. Not free, however. Well, I guess that depends where you get it from...
