No, I like this one better.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EolGC5LrBCk

The funniest thing ever is watching Malmsteen attempt to play the blues. It is hilarious, he absolutely sucks at it.

i'd have to say this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJVStqP8tjg

not only does he do an amazing solo with his teeth, he puts the iicing on the cake when he busts the solo behind his back.

The Monterey performance was unbelievable. I especially like The Wind Cries Mary at Monterey.

His blues stuff is not as good as the rest, but listen to "Cherokee Warrior" one of my friends hates Malmsteen, but loves this song!

^I'd let a pro look at it. Once you get into the technicalities of screws...well, it's just a place you don't want to be, friend.

No he doesn't. He just plays it differently than your average blues guitarist.

he can do it for about 3 bars and then falls back into his neo-classical licks that man should really stick to his own or practice in secrecy

In other words...He doesn't actually play the blues? Cause I think that's what you're getting at... Just messin mate

Some people are gonna have to accept Yngwie Malmsteen isn't the god they hail him as. He's actually just really boring and fat, and you like him because his playing is impressive. Those so called "lessons" are like porn of him wanking the guitar, and bore you to death after 10 seconds.

Yeah, he's a pretty awesome player, but his music sucks.

Anyway, I submit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-sWR-kQblaw

It has them when they were still at their prime, and Jason Newstead being a meathead and looking like a Stretch Armstrong, and Kirk playing a horrible looking Les Paul thing.

this video has to be my favorite currently, this man deserves to be mentioned as he was just as good as hendrix, clapton, and beck at the time.
