Is it possible to order a guitar/bass from fender japan to america? And if so, whats a good website to do it from?

No, Fender Japan are prohibited from selling to anyone outside Japan, they supply exclusively to the domestic Japanese market. There's a whole big backstory behind this, but basically the Japanese Fender's were outselling the American ones as they were cheaper and said to be equal to if not better the American series guitars.

+1 ^^ Fender Japan cannot sell to the US.

If you want to talk to someone in Japan about other possibilities call the dudes at Ishibashi Music, very helpful.
It's a fine line between clever and stupid.

You occasionally get some imports, like some '57 RIs and 62' Tele RIs etc.
But there's a few on eBay usually.

I know that the Jaguar Baritone custom is one. But that can't sell toanywhere else? That ****ing bites.
