I wasn't aware that bedrooms had a wattage for gigs . And please don't type how you speak, saying like all the time makes no sense.

Tube: Bedroom half a wat upto whatever your neighbours will put up with. Gigs I'd say minimum 30watt.
SS: Bedroom again as low and as high as you want. Gigs 60 watt at least.
A recent study shows that 8% of teenagers listen to nothing but music with guitars in it. Put this in your sig if you're one of the 92% who isn't a closed-minded moron.

Depends on the size and venue of the gig to be fair.

I've got a 15W tube amp that does smallish venues quite easily.

I know plenty of guys using 5-8w tube amps for gigs. You can always mic the speaker for more volume. Personally I've been asked by soundguys to turn down my 15w Pro Jr.
It's a fine line between clever and stupid.

Yeah 15 watts tube amps are easly enough for gigs. Ive got a Plexi which ive modded to 15 watts and im still as loud as our other guitarists Laney TT50! And that with my Plexi with volume on 5 and Weber attenuator on 5 and his amp on 5.
