Ok, so im having a hard time deciding what pedals to buy. Two choices are now on top of my list. Digitech DigiDelay or Ibanez WD7 Weeping Demon Wah.

I know its a rather weird comparison, but to ya'll out there, which is most essential in a chain of effects? Please leave your thoughts on this. Thanks!

Other pedals I am also considering: Digitech Grunge, Digitech Digiverb, Boss CS-3 Compressor/Sustainer. I already have an Overdrive and a Phaser.

Personally, I don't care much for Digitech. I think what you get first depends on your playing style. I use delay more than wah, but, that might be different for you. By the way I have the Boss DD-20, a great delay pedal.

Boss is called Boss for a reason. But if that's how you roll, hey, it's your sound, not mine. Delay is a really neat device to make tapping runs sound faster than they really are, and you can also play Cathedral with one. And that's about the only song I know that uses a delay that actually changes the way the song sounds.
