has anyone played it that can tell me if it's worth the money?? i've been looking for it but can't find it on any local stores

No, it isn't.

That's Rory's guitar, just replicated. That means its already worn in, but that also means that wear in doesn't come from you. I for one think that means something. I vote that you buy a new, american (or even custom shop) strat, drink WAY too much and let the alcohol in your sweat and blood eat the guitar up.

Have a nice day

yeah sig guitars are almost never worth it unless they have some weird features that would be hard to get otherwise.

The Eric Johnson sig strat is totally worth it; the rest are meh.

Get a mexican if you do fender, and a nice G&L if you can afford it.

Also - you won't get the relic effect on your own with most modern strats because they are finished in polyurethane which doesn't come off the way the nitro lacquer on the vintage/CS strats does

Get a Johnson strat those things are real nice, if not get a MIM and change out the electronics with a Acme guitar electronic kit with some Lollar pups or Lindy's and get a fret crowning.
