I tried both and ended up with an Ibanez. I like the feel, build quality and sound better. I ended up selling mine this Christmas only because it no longer fit my playing style.

when you say "Artcore vs. Dot" do you mean like... inlays on the fretboard?? if so, I currently have dots but I wish I had some "Ibanez triangles" instead... or maybe some cool art or even words....

loll.. I know there's a model called Artcore (from Ibanez IIRC) but I didn't know about the Dot model so I figured he was talking about inlays haha... sorry

i've played some artcore series guitar, they have a really smooth and warm tone, maybe
it sounded good because i was playing trough an old fender twin reverb
