Does putting spray paint under a heat lamp make it dry faster?

Don't, its a sure fire way to kill yourself. Spray paints use aerosol. Paint = toxic. You could very easily start a flash fire. Also using a heat lamp will sometimes evaporate the water underneath the paint and cause the paint to bubble.
Its just more work then it needs to be without it.

I remember someone here had a heat lamp inside a box to dry the paint quicker, I don't remember who.

But, if you know anything in chemistry, matter goes from gas/liquid to a solid in a colder environment. So a heat lamp may/will mess up your finish.
