Anyone from Australia know [particularly Sydney] where you can buy/customise fretboards with contoured frets? Like Yngwie's Strat, i mean.

scalloping ain;t that hard. it doesn't have to be symmetrical, even, as the point is not to touch the fretboard at all. i'd say sae the monies.

EDIT: I've read of one manufacturer who purposly makes their scallops asymetrical (deeper towards the bridge).

Yeah, if you're feeling adventurous, you could buy a new neck...(I wouldn't do it to your current one. Ya need a backup in case you screw up, hehe.)...and check out those tutorials Will_minus posted. They're pretty informative, and can walk you through it.
