I have an acoustic-electric Seagull S6+CW and it has never given me an problems, however today I pick it up, turn on the amp, strum a few chords when I notice that nothings coming out of the amp. First I check to see if all volume knobs are up (happens more often than you think), but they're all where they need to be. Then I plug in my electric to see if its the amp nope electric works fine.

So, I know that I dont NEED to be pluged in to an amp, but my band has practice this weekend and thats my main guitar and we only have 1 microphone. I dont know what the problem is, I have never encountered this kind of thing before (been playing for 4 years). So, is there something else I should check, or if I have to take it in how much will it cost me to fix.

This guitar has been perfect until now, not one single problem.

it's probably just the battery in your preamp. throw you a new 9 volt battery in there and see if it works!
