hey, im going to completely re-paint my squire bullet special. i want to take a blue one and paint it hot pink. im wondering how to strip the paint off of the current one. actually if anyone here can give me liek step by step instruction for the whole project, that would be rad. ill post pictures along the way. thanks

You gota sand it off down to the wood. An electric sander should help get a lot off and then its down to hand sanding, which is a long hard job ;P Good luck.

ok sweet. so any electric sander will do the job? or is there specific like grains and things i have to use?

Well, I heard that you should start off with thin grains for the sandpaper itself, but It didn't even scratch the paint, so I used thicker and thicker until stuff started coming off.
