Yeah... Um I can't get away from my computer no matter how hard I try. Always bouncing around various forums and youtube, I feel like there's a giant magnet physically pulling me towards the computer.

Last Week, I left my computer at my house before going to my dorm. And...last week, I did unusually well in school, but the inconvenience of not having a computer was getting to me. I did however get alot more homework done and my social life improved (who would have though....)!

This week, I brought my computer. And this week, I bombed not 1, but 2 tests!!! One night when I was supposed to be cramming for a test, I was spending a cool 80% of my time on the internet doing pointless crap.

My new solution is going to be bring the computer, but leave the ethernet cable at home so I can't connect to the internet. Hopefully that works!

Anyone else have similar experiences with "internet addictions"? Am I really "addicted" or am I just a typical lazy procrastinator type?

(P.S. I am willing to consider other addictions to replace )

Just leave the computer, but I can understand where you're coming from, my guess is that it's a procrastination thing.

It's a need/want sort of thing. You need to do your homework and study and all, but you want to play around that Interweb. It's simply more fun to do something useless online than it is to do something useful on paper.

Yes I'm addicted to internet. If by internet you mean real life. And by real life you mean porn.
