It's not a stupid question, and I have a perfectly good reason for asking it.

My friend and I have been arguing about how to catch diptheria. He claims mosquito bites, and I claim the ingestion of fecal matter. It looks like we were both wrong.

So, not a stupid question, but DEFINITELY a stupid thing to have an argument about.
