I have a Les Paul Studio, and the neck position pickup is a bit muddy. I have been looking at some possible replacements, such as the DiMarzio PAF, Virtual PAF, Air Classic, Evo and Humbucker From Hell. Anyway, I was wondering if any of you have changed the neck position pickup in your Les Pauls and got a cleaner, brighter sound? What pickup did you use, and how would you rate it?

Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates. Clean, bright, sexy. Sounds great. It's the pickup model they put in the '60s Les Paul standards, I think. Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top has Pearly Gates in his Paul.
