if I bought a amp head could I plug the speakers from my combo amp into it? because im having some volume problems with my combo atm and I think the problem lies in the preamp. there is a cable coming from the speakers which plugs in to the back of the preamp. so if I bought a new head could I do that?

nah im just wondering incase the problem cant be fixed. basically for some reason the volume on my warhead keeps altering. one minute its fairly loud, but the next it will drop suddenly. it wont stay constant

Thats happened to me but for me it was just the cable i was using was dodgy... You checked that?
